Moved to Durham in 1995 from Los Angeles, California. She began her theater career in LA Unified's Conservatory for Performing Arts. She continued on to attend the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, which has educated noted performers such as Jenna Elfman, Josh Groban, Anthony Anderson, and Monica Calhoun. This is where she began focusing on leadership roles in production and served as the school's Student Body President. Upon graduation, she attended the University of California at Berkeley where she majored in Rhetoric and Theatre. She produced and performed in several musicals with Bear Stage Productions including an original called Kim based on Rudyard Kipling's book. She was also a member of a campus dance troupe called Danceworx for three years.
Last summer was her theater debut in North Carolina and she was honored to play Iris in the original Both Hands production of Brooms. This past September, fate smiled upon her again and she was blessed to play Dunyasha in Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern's The Cherry Orchard. She can be seen this May in another production of Little Green Pig's called the Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant.
In 2002, she transferred to the University of Phoenix, completed her BS in Business Management and is currently pursuing her MBA. She plans to continue on until she finishes her PhD. Her desire is to teach theater business at one of the local Universities or junior colleges while continuing her passion of producing and performing in great theatrical works.
